Connective Tiissue
December 30th, 2009 by adminIn addition to the connective-tissue fibres, the round ligament also contains muscular fibres, which are a continuation of the fibres of the uterine outer muscular layer. Like the vaginal process in males, the peritoneum together with the round ligament advances for some distance as a diverticulum into the inguinal canal in embryonic life; this peritoneal diverticulum in females is called the processus vaginalis peritonei; in adult females it is usually oblitered. The round ligament is analogous with the gubernaculums testis in males.ICD 10 Coding will teach not only for the proper coding and billing but also for the payment and collections.
