I won the titles of Miss Peach, Miss Popcorn, and Miss New Caledonia when I was in my late teens and early twenties. I made the pageant rounds back then because it was so much fun, and I really needed the shot in the arm that pageants gave my self-esteem. Even though I was pretty and talented, I still lacked self-confidence and poise. When I won those pageants, it helped me feel good about myself! Now that I am well past those years, I found that my smooth complexion that helped me win was looking not so smooth! Now thanks to frownies reviews, “pageant me” is back!
