If your parent is sort of hesitant in moving to some senior community then what you could do is to allow them to find out what is in store on the community that they are moving to. Senior Move Managers don’t always have an easy transition and often a very challenging time not only for the moving party but for the whole family as well. There are some communities that are open to the idea of introducing your parent to the new community. You could have your parent stay in a short period of time in that community for them to feel if that is the right community for them. Think of it as trial and error.
