Bumps in the Road to Fine Summer Tomatoes
February 20th, 2010 by adminThe concept sounds so simple: plant a small plant, water it and care for it, watch it grow, and soon enough you will have in your hands a beautiful ripe tomato, ready for picking and use in whatever way the gardener sees fit. However, the process is not this simple and it actually requires a fair amount of attention, patience, and work. First of all, it’s important that the plants are monitored for any changes that may indicate tomato diseases. Second, they must be treated in whatever way possible. Sometimes, this removes separating certain plants, sometimes it means using a sprayer to solve whatever problem exists.
