I have been in business for 25 years, and one of the worst things about being in business for yourself is that you have to deal with bad debt collection. However, things have got much better in recent years, because you can now use the services of debt collection agencies who will contact the customer and arrange for you to be paid, and for this the debt collection agency will simply take a commission on the amount of debt that they recover. It makes life much easier than it was in the old days, because now I don’t need to worry so much about my cash flow getting into trouble.
