Federal Government Attorney Jobs
October 7th, 2008 by adminWhile applying for attorney jobs in a federal agency, not many people are aware pf the fact that such jobs are considered as excepted service. Anyone who is being hired for federal government attorney jobs is likely to get appointed under an appointment termed as ‘Schedule A’. It is because of the exceptional nature of the job that regular hiring procedures which are applicable to all civil services are not applicable for this job. Unlike for most jobs, one may not have to go through an examination. Federal agencies can also hire directly without referring to the OPM. When dealing with various offices and agencies that do their own personnel management, keep in mind that just because you don’t need an examination, you still may need special skills and qualifications to land the job.
