Updated Open House Invitations and Customer Brochures will soon be available. The current versions of these items will be available on supply orders placed on or before July 7. Starting July 8, supply orders that include invitations, kids wall decals, and brochures will be filled with the updated versions. The item number for these items will not change. (All pre-orders, as defined above, that also include invitations and brochures will include the updated versions.)
Uppercase Living Business Cards are also being updated. The new business cards will be available on July 9.
New Demonstrator Agreement
A new Demonstrator Agreement has been posted in the Document Library on UL Express. This agreement will become part of the new Demonstrator enrollment process tomorrow, July 1, 2009. Demonstrators who sign up on or after July 1 will be subject to the new Demonstrator Agreement immediately. Demonstrators who signed up before July 1 are subject to the current Demonstrator Agreement until August 1, 2009, when the new Demonstrator Agreement will be in effect for all Demonstrators.
Most of the changes made to the Demonstrator Agreement were small, such as combining articles for efficiency, or clarifying headings. The most prominent changes were made to the following articles:
Article 1:
Language was added to this article about ethics, especially representations made to potential new recruits and obligations to customers.
Article 2:
The definition of an “independent contractor” has been expanded to include points on carrying insurance and unemployment matters.
Article 6:
The definition of “exclusivity” has been broadened to be in harmony with our company philosophy on supporting Demonstrators who also have other businesses that are not in direct competition of our core product line.
Article 10:
This new article provides details on participating in the company’s referral program.
