Diet Health Food - Is Fish Healthy?

There are many different foods that are excellent for health. One diet health food that is widely misunderstood is fish. The right type of fish can be extremely healthy and beneficial. Unfortunately, much fish that is available to us is farmed fish. What happens here is that you digest way too much mercury and other toxins, which negate any health benefits you derive from the fish.

Wild oily fish and wild fatty fish are the best types of fish to eat. These are the perfect substitute for eating meat. Especially beneficial are wild salmon, mackerel, herring and haddock.
