A few years ago, the idea of a cell phone with a built-in camera seemed excessive and unnecessary. After all, cell phones were for making and receiving calls on the go; why would you need to take pictures with one? These days, many people see the advantages of camera phones, which allow you to be ready to take a picture anytime, anywhere! Also, since camera phones have become very inexpensive, it no longer seems as if you are paying a premium for what may be a relatively unnecessary feature. Finally, the cameras that cell phones include are of much higher quality than they used to be, which is one knock that people had against them years ago.
