When I went to see my doctor to ask about my back pain, I expected that he would just give me some painkillers and maybe some kind of ointment to help the muscles. But I was surprised to learn that the problem was with my spine, and that I would have to undergo lumbar surgery for back pain in order to solve the problem completely. I thought it was a lot of trouble to go into hospital simply for back pain, but my doctor told me that if I did not have the operation soon the back pain would probably become much worse, and then it will be much more difficult to cure. I did not need to be convinced, and I went in and had the operation as soon as possible.
