The Room 208 Blog

I am a “sinkie”  ‘Sinkie’ is a term that my family came up with to describe ourselves.  No matter how many people we have over for family events, we always end up in the kitchen, leaning against the stainlesss steel kitchen sink,  eating, laughing and talking.   Although our kitchen is one of the smaller rooms in the house, we always end up there.  I find that a lot of my best memories from family holidays center around that kitchen and the love and laughter experienced there, not to mention some amazing food made by some amazing cooks!  This may be why the kitchen is, to this day, my favorite room in any home.
