Avoid Formaldehyde, Use Organic Makeup
April 19th, 2008 by adminFormaldehyde is a common ingredient in many things, and it is also found in many cosmetics. It is most commonly used as a preservative and has been linked to many different skin reactions. So next time you put on your foundation and your blush to hide the blemishes on your skin, perhaps take a look at the ingredients list on the package. If there is no ingredients list, you can call the customer care number to find out what your makeup contains. If your makeup contains formaldehyde, you may want to consider switching over to organic makeup, which is more likely to be free of such toxic chemicals. However, be a conscientious consumer and still read the ingredients list, even if the makeup advertises itself as organic.
