The Room 208 Blog

When I lived in Japan, while my father was stationed there, we lived in a rather small apartment.  I don’t think most folks here in the U.S. can quite grasp the fact that over there there just isn’t the kind of space that we are used to.  Take the bathroom, for example.  There wasn’t space for the large tubs that we use here, but only room for one of those small corner bath tubs.  It took some getting used to, but living in a place like that, makes me appreciate all the more what we have here, and what we take for granted.
